So here's what is being thought of. To make things more fun, every month the Nuts would be reset and we would have a winner every month (instead of just one all time winner). Since TheDailyNut.com is an epic game of win (read the About Us page to find out how) this might be a good way to go, but I am really wanting your thoughts on such a big decision. It's your Nuts after all. Those people who have been submitting would have an advantage over the newer players/ members due to the fact that you have posted pages and still get Nuts coming in from the page views on those. Maybe the winner every month could get a prize (maybe start out with a Nuts bonus but if we get enough people maybe epic prizes like gift cards)?
But....I gots a lifetime supply :'(

how about we get to keep a collective nut count but we have a winner for the most collected in a weeks time each week.
that if we have a collective Nut count than that would be the same as it is now effectively. I'm looking into either keeping collective Nuts or moving to where we basically have a new round every month. I think having a new round every month would be more epic but I need even more opinions. We can't have both though. Another thinking behind doing a new round every month is that people who are new to the website have a better chance at being #1 than they do now (because some people looking at others who have 2,000 Nuts might just be like 'screw it it'll take too long to get up there' XD). That way hopefully more people would join and submit and be a part of the epic stream of Nuts! The older members would have an advantage still though because they have things submitted already, thus they already have an income stream of Nuts from people potentially viewing their pages (as opposed to newer users who have to build up their empire from scratch).
